Shun and Japanese. Good evening, everyone. I am Shun, a Japanese teacher. Everyone, what kind of day was it today? How was your weekend? Let me see. Um, it took about twelve hours by plane from Tokyo to New York. Actually, I took a long-distance flight for the first time in a long while. I often fly, but it's been a really long time since I've been on such a long flight. How about you all? What do you do when you're on a long-distance flight? What do you bring on the plane? How do you spend your time on the plane? Let's see. Those twelve hours are long, aren't they? First, I check what time we'll arrive. If the arrival time is in the morning, I try to sleep as much as possible on the plane. If I sleep on the plane, I can stay awake all day after I arrive. And I won't get jet lag either. And if it's night when we arrive, I try not to sleep on the plane, and instead spend time watching movies, listening to music, or working. That's right. Because if it's night when we arrive, we can go to bed right away. Um, I bring a lot of food on the plane. Well, I bring nuts and protein bars. The meals on the plane are small, so I get hungry. So I always bring a lot of food. Also, buying them at the airport is expensive. And I also try to bring as much water as possible. Well, you can get water on the plane too. But it's a hassle to call the cabin attendant every time, so I always bring water. And then something to kill time on the plane. Well, nowadays I work when I have time, so I always bring my laptop. But of course I don't work for the full twelve hours, so I do things like work, watch movies, or take a nap. Also, I bring sandals. On long-haul flights, I don't want to wear shoes the whole time, so I change into sandals. I wonder if I'm the only one. Well, of course you can't check in a power bank, so I bring it on the plane. No, a power bank is necessary. It's convenient. This time when I went to New York, it was early in the morning, but when I arrived in New York it was morning, so I pretty much slept almost the whole time on the plane. I hadn't been sleeping much in Tokyo lately, so I was able to sleep soundly. Also, since no one was in the seat next to me, I could use the three seats all by myself. So I was really able to fly comfortably. I might prefer long-haul flights. Generally, the planes are big, so there's plenty of space, and even in economy class you can ride comfortably. Yes. Well, what are your experiences on airplanes? What do you bring on the plane? How do you spend your time on the plane? If you like, please let me know in the YouTube comments before you sleep. Well then everyone, let's meet again in the next episode. Please take a good rest again today. See you later. Good night.
