Shun and Japanese. Good evening, everyone. I'm Shun, a Japanese teacher. How was your day today? How was your weekend? Yes. Well, let's see. Now she has come to Japan, and yes, recently she has been staying at a hotel in Japan. Now, uh, I'm staying at hotels except for my parents' house. Have you all ever stayed at a Japanese hotel? How was it? Well, of course, it's completely different depending on the hotel. Those high-class hotels, of course, they're clean and big, right? But of course, I'm not staying at high-class hotels. Well, I'm staying at hotels like business hotels. Cheap hotels in Japan are usually really small, right? Uh, especially business hotels in big cities are like that. Honestly, at first I was a bit worried about staying at a business hotel with my girlfriend. I was worried that the room and bed might be too small, yeah, well. Uh, but, well, I thought this small-room hotel was really amazing. Yes, really. Uh, well, of course, for people used to hotels outside Japan, um, it's too small. Yes. But, um, it's usually very clean and has everything you need. The room is small, but they use the small space well, and I was surprised by the minimal, minimalist, minimalist room. So every day I'm spending time comfortably in this small hotel, more than I expected. I have two large suitcases, but yes, it's really fine. The hotel shower is also strong, and uh, the toilet, well, everyone already knows about it. So it has everything you need and it's clean, so even though it's small, it's really comfortable. Well, you could even live here. There's a small desk and a refrigerator, really everything you need is there. The Wi-Fi might depend on the hotel, but the Wi-Fi at the hotel I stayed at was really strong, and I was able to keep working without any problems. When I'm alone, I usually stay at hostels, but when I travel with my girlfriend, I recommend small Japanese business hotels. The bed size is a double bed; well, when I was in Chile and New Zealand, I always slept in a queen bed, but I got used to it quickly. After all, there aren't many apartments in Japanese cities that can fit a queen-size bed. What about you? Well, there are various types of hotels in Japan, aren't there? Ryokan are a slightly different type of hos— ah, hotel, so they might be a bit different. But everyone, um, what do you think about Japanese business hotels? Uh, how are business hotels in your country? If you like, please let me know in the YouTube comments before you go to sleep. You can see the transcript of this episode on my Patreon. Please check it out if you like. Well everyone, see you in the next episode. See you later. Good night.
