Shun and Japanese. Good evening, everyone. I'm Shun, a Japanese teacher. How was your day today, everyone? How was your weekend? Yes, that's right. Now, I've finally arrived in Santiago. It really took a lot of time, didn't it? Oh man, that was tough. I went from Tokyo to Santiago via New York. Uh, in New York I also fell for a weird scam. When I left the New York airport and tried to go to another terminal, an airport staff member? No, not a staff member. A staff member talked to me and said I had to take a taxi to the other terminal. So I followed him. Well, I tried to take a taxi to the terminal. But I didn't have any cash. Also, I remembered that the airport staff said there was a free train that could take me to the other terminal. So I told him to go back to the terminal where I was. But he said, 'The train is stopped now.' Hmm, I couldn't really believe that. Then I realized it was a scam. Well, they were really angry. Well, since I didn't have cash, they couldn't take any money. Yes. Well, it was tough, but I managed to make the connection in New York. And then I flew for about ten more hours from there. Yeah. I got on the plane and was tired so I slept at first, but after about two hours I woke up. That's right. Well, we waited about seven hours in New York too, so I was exhausted. Well, but after waking up I couldn't fall asleep. I was so excited to go to Santiago that I kept looking at the map in front of my seat. We finally arrived in Santiago. I was truly moved. Somehow everything was in Spanish, and right at the airport I spoke in Spanish. My Spanish was better than when I was in South America before, and I was able to communicate much more, so I was really, um, happy. Well, I don't understand everything yet, but I could understand a lot of what was being said. She hadn't arrived at the airport yet, so I was waiting for her. At that time, it felt really long. And finally, I was able to meet her again. I was really happy. After that, since I was hungry, I had lunch at an airport restaurant and went to the Airbnb in Santiago. I still don't really feel like I'm in Chile. It feels kind of like a dream. Yeah. But I'm really looking forward to life in Chile from now on. Yes. Well, I think I'll end today's episode here. Thank you. Well then, everyone, let's take a good rest today as well. See you later. Good night.
